It is a city of wide boulevards that offers ever changing perspectives of Lutyen’s landscaped city. It is also a city known for its formal parks, magnificent Parliament Building, the Rashtrapati Bhawan (the official residence of the President of India in the 330 acres of land and designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens) and India Gate.

Morning: Proceed on a city tour of Agra. Visit the Agra Fort, built by three Mughal Emperors starting from Akbar the Great in 1565 AD, which is a masterpiece of design and construction. Within the fort are a number of exquisite buildings including the Moti Masjid, Jahangir’s Palace, Khas Mahal and the Sheesh Mahal, Diwane-i-Am, Diwane-i-Khas and Musamman Burj, where Emperor Shah Jahan, the fifth Mughal Emperor, died a prisoner.
Later visit the sunset Taj Mahal – the inimitable poem in white marble. Built over a period of 22 years, by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1630, for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains, it is one of the seven modern wonders of the World.

Morning after breakfast drive to Jaipur, enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri built by Emperor Akbar as his capital and palace in the 16th century. It is built a city predominantly in Red Sandstone and is called Fatehpur Sikri, which is also known as a fairy-tale ghost city of delicately carved red sandstone. It is one of the finest examples of the culmination of Hindu and Muslim architecture.

The next morning, explore the Mughal-influenced Amber Fort, continuing to Dera Amer for an exclusive elephant safari on a private Rajput farm. After lunch, uncover the city of Jaipur, including the City Palace; the Jantar Mantar Observatory with its precise astronomical instruments; and the pink sandstone of Hawa Mahal.
