Day 01: Arrival in Delhi

Meet on arrival at International airport and transfer to Hotel for check in.

Day 02: Delhi Sight Seeing

Morning after a relaxed breakfast we will take you to a tour of Delhi.

Pulsing with energy and colour, Old Delhi is laced by a maze of narrow lanes, which twist and turn between the tall, leaning buildings. You will witness the hustle and bustle of thronged bazaars where you will experience the full sights, sounds and aromas indicative of the Indian sub continent.

In Old Delhi you will visit the famous Red Fort surrounded by shops and bazaars, the Jama Masjid with its tapering minarets and wonderful marble domes and Chandni Chowk. In Old Delhi you will also have an opportunity to experience a rickshaw ride

As a complete contrast, New Delhi stands in formal splendor. It is a city of wide boulevards that offers ever changing perspectives of Lutyen’s landscaped city. It is also a city known for its formal parks, magnificent Parliament Building, the Rashtrapati Bhawan (the official residence of the President of India in the 330 acres of land and designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens) and India Gate - It's a majestic high arch,42 meters high, built as a memorial to the Indian Soldiers killed in world war - 1. In New Delhi you will also visit Qutab Minar, the 72.5 meter high tower dating back to the 13th century.

Day 03 : Delhi – Mandawa

Morning after breakfast, drive down to Mandawa – “Open Art Gallery of Rajasthan” (The semi-desert region of Shekhawati, lying in the triangular region between Delhi, Jaipur and Bikaner, is famous for its plethora of Painted Havelis (Mansions), all commendable pieces of the rich artistic traditions of this region and most from the 18th century.

These magnificent Havelis display a unique architectural style that evolved around the courtyards to ensure safety and privacy of the women folk and protection from the heat of the long and harsh summers.

The Havelis, painted predominantly in the blue, maroon, yellows, green and indigo have beautiful wall paintings that adorn their walls. The earlier wall paintings were largely based on the mythological themes, depicting local legends, animals, portraits, hunting and wrestling scenes and a glimpse of everyday life. Besides the above attractions the region also has Castles, Havellis (Pvt. Residence of some of the known Marwaris, Baolis (Step Wells), Chhatris (Cenotaphs) and Mosques).

Day 04 : Mandawa – Bikaner

Morning after breakfast proceed to Bikaner. On arrival check in at hotel, Later proceed your tour to visit Junagarh Fort and Karni Mata Temple.

Junagarh Fort is an unassailable fortress, which has never been conquered. Built in 1593 A.D. by Raja Rai Singh, one of the most distinguished generals in the army of Emperor Akbar, the fort is a formidable structure encircled by a moat. The main entrance to the fort is Karan Pole (Gate) that is east facing. Next to it is the Suraj Pole, the sun gate.

Karin Mata Temple at Deshnoke is a renowned centre for rat worship. The 600 years old temple is home to thousands of black, grey and white rats or Kaba. An image of Karni Mata, a manifestation of Goddess Durga, is depicted holding trident in her hand. It is believed the Goddess Durga lived at this place during 14th century and performed miracles. The temple is carved from stones and marble, which features silver gates, built by Maharaja Ganga Singh, and an overhead mesh that protect rats from birds.

Day 05 : Bikaner – Pokharan - Jaiselmer

Morning after breakfast proceed for Jaisalmer via Pokharan. On arrival check in at your hotel. Evening free for individual activities.

Day 06 : Jaisalmer Sight Seeing

Morning after breakfast proceed for city tour of Jaisalmer, visit Jaisalmer Fort, Patwaon Ki Haveli and enjoy camel safari at Sam Sand Dunes.

Jaisalmer Fort also called Sonar Qila or Golden Fort because it is made up of yellow sandstone and seems to ignite into a golden flame when scorched by the desert sun. Even today, one fourth of the old city’s population resides within the fort. A cross-cultural merging of Rajput, Islamic architectural styles and the Jain Temples make this fort an exception in its own.

In the afternoon drive to Sam Sand Dunes to enjoy Camel Safari.
Post dinner drive back to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 07 : Jaisalmer - Jodhpur

After breakfast, leave for Jodhpur, Upon arrival check in at Hotel.

Jodhpur is the second largest city of Rajasthan. Jodhpur is famous for its magnificent forts and palaces. It is situated at the edge of the Thar Desert with Jaisalmer on its west, Barmar, Jalor and Pali on its south, Bikaner on its north, and Nagaur on the eastern side. Founded in 1459 by Rao Jodha, a chief of Rajput clan known as the Rathores, Jodhpur was the capital of the Rathore Kingdom. Until recent times, Jodhpur was known as the ancient kingdom of Marwar, the largest kingdom in Rajputana

Later you will be taken on a tour of the ‘Blue City’, Jodhpur to visit - The Mehrangarh Fort, is a living testimony of the military might of the Rajputs, later visit Umaid Bhawan, the only 20th-century-built palace, and was constructed to give employment to the famine-struck population of Jodhpur. Then proceed to visit, The Jaswant Thade, is a shrine built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant II in 1899. Afterwards visit Sardar Market, located in the heart of the city, are popular for a wide range of handicrafts.

Day 08 : Jodhpur – Ranakpur - Udaipur

After breakfast drive to Udaipur. Enroute visit a family, Drive to Ranakpur. The dividend is exploiting this temple complex is one of the most beautiful in all Rajasthan’s, built in the 15th Century by the Jain community. The main temple Chaumuk impresses with its countless columns and detailed sculptures.

Later we will proceed your journey to Udaipur, the “Venice of the East”. Udaipur is well known as the most romantic place throughout India and is therefore also a popular filming location. Successful films such as “The Tiger of All Law” and “Octopussy” have been filmed here. On arrival check into hotel.

Day 09 : Udaipur Sight Seeing

Admire the labyrinthine old town, the magnificent palaces of white marble, the rolling hills and the shimmering Lake Pichola. During the city tour you will see the City Palace, the “House of Friends” Saheliyon-ki-Bari – a park with fountains and pleasure gardens and the golden equestrian statue of Pratap. In the afternoon enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola and visit the island palace Jag Mandir here.

Day 10 : Udaipur – Pushkar

Drive to Pushkar – an oasis in the desert. The quiet little town of Pushkar is a holy lake and is an ancient Hindu pilgrimage center. There are countless temples, ghats (bathing steps) and the fronts of the houses are whitewashed. The city also boasts its Brahma temple, dedicated to the supreme god of the Hindus. An old legend says that Brahma, the Creator of the universe in search of a suitable place of sacrifice a lotus flower (Pushkar) fell from his hand.At this point, where the flower fell, there was a lake – today’s holy Pushkar Lake..On arrival check in at hotel.

Later enjoy the full day at the Pushkar Fair grounds and at the tented camp. Witness livestock traders wearing brightly hued turbans and long mustaches buying and selling thousands of lavishly decorated steers, camels and horses.

In the evening enjoy the Camel ride to see the beautiful hills and mesmerizing sunset on desert of Pushkar.

Day 11 : Pushkar – Jaipur

Morning after breakfast drive to Jaipur. Jaipur is the capital and largest city of the Indian state of Rajasthan. It was founded on 18 November 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. This place is also known as the “Pink City”. During a state visit by Prince Albert to him all the old houses were painted in Pink honor and welcome.

On arrival check in to Hotel. Later in the evening visit Birla Temple. Drive back to Hotel.

Day 12: Jaipur Sight Seeing

Morning after breakfast sight seen of the impressive Amber Fort with Elephant Safari. The Fort, completed in the early 18th century, took over 100 years to build and now, although deserted, offers a fascinating insight into the lifestyle of the Mughal ruling families.

Afternoon tour of the City – “The Pink City” is spectacularly set within surrounding rugged hills, dotted with ancient ruined fortresses. Your tour will include the imposing City Palace, still home to the Maharaja although several of the rooms are now open to the public. Many antiques and artifacts belonging to the ruling family are housed here, including a collection of weaponry. You will also visit the Hawa Mahal , Jantar Mantar Observatory to see the vast astronomical, instruments.

Day 13: Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra

Morning after breakfast drive to Agra, enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri built by Emperor Akbar as his capital and palace in the 16th century. It is built a city predominantly in Red Sandstone and is called Fatehpur Sikri, which is also known as a fairy-tale ghost city of delicately carved red sandstone. It is one of the finest examples of the culmination of Hindu and Muslim architecture.

Today, visit One of UNESCO World Heritage Site: Immortal Taj Mahal.

Taj Mahal designated a World Heritage Site, the Taj is renowned for its exquisite marble screens and pietra dura, a type of marble inlay work made with thousands of semiprecious stones. Accessed through an outer courtyard, the entrance to the inner compound is through a majestic red sandstone gateway. Visit Taj Mahal by Tonga’s (horse carriage). An Indian icon, the much-photographed and instantly recognizable. Taj Mahal is known as the world’s most famous monument to love. The romantic story of this exceptional building is almost as beautiful as the palace itself. Heartbroken at the death of his second wife, Mumtaz Mahal, the renowned leader Shah Jahan designed the Taj as a monument to his lost love.

Day 14 : Agra – Delhi Departure

Morning after breakfast, Today, visit another UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Agra Fort.

we countiue your tour for Agra Fort – Near the gardens of the Taj Mahal stands the important 16th-century Mughal monument known as the Red Fort of Agra. More often than not, the Agra Fort is overshadowed by the pristine beauty of the Taj but for those looking for something beyond romance, the Agra Fort is worth seeing. Situated on the bank of river Yamuna, the Agra Fort today, stands as a citadel of the past that has witnessed centuries slip by.

Later drive back to Delhi, you will have an opportunity to admire the Indian countryside on a five-hour chauffeured drive back to Delhi. In time you will be transferred to the airport for onward flight
