Day 01: Delhi - Bhubaneswar

Upon arrival at Bhubaneswar airport, you will be met by our representative and will be transferred to the hotel. PM visit to Temples of Bhubaneswar: Rajarani Temple, Mukteswar Temple & Lingaraj Temple.

Overnight @ Bhubaneswar.


Day 02: Bhubaneswar Sightseeing

Early Morning transfer to Mangalazodi Eco village (best known wetland for migratory birds), 3 hours visit to wetland of Chilika lake with county boat, the local villagers has immense knowledge about birds & their ecology & later visit to Khandagiri & Udaygiri Caves, Tribal Museum, Nandankanan Zoo.

Day 03: Bhubaneswar – Konark – Puri

This morning drive to Puri and enroute visit Dhauli Peace Pagoda, Pipli Applique village & Konark Temple.

Most ancient civilizations have been sun-worshippers and in India, a 13th Century dynasty has left behind a beautiful temple shaped like a chariot with intricately carved stone wheels and pillars, the Konark temple.

India’s famous poet-author Rabindranath Tagore wrote of the monument - “Here the language of stone surpasses the language of man.” Drive off towards the Konark temple dedicated to the sun god, Surya, and look upon the sundial wheels of his chariot – unquestionably one of India’s finest monuments among the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites.

After the sightseeing of Konark Temple, visit to Chandrabhaga Sea beach. Later drive to Puri and upon arrival check-in at hotel.

Day 04: Puri Sightseeing

Today early morning darshan at Jagannath Temple.

The Jagannath Temple at Puri is one of the most sacred pilgrimage spots in India. This 12th century temple is dedicated to Lord Jagannath –“The Lord of the Universe”.

The wooden figures of the three deities, Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra stand in the sanctorium garlanded and decorated by the high priests. The extraordinary form that Jagannath assumes, according to the legend, is the unfinished work of the craftsman god Viswakarma, who in anger left this portrayal of Lord Vishnu incomplete.

After lunch move to Chilika Lake, Asia’s largest estuarine water lagoon covers an area of 1100 sq Km with combination of salt and fresh water. The lake is separated from the Bay of Bengal by a narrow sandy ridge, called Ramsar Wetland.

For it biodiversity, this lake attracts millions migratory bird in winter. It also home to a diverse range of aquatic life, including 225 species of fish and the playful Irrawaddy Dolphin, also visit mouth of Chilika: the meeting point of Chilika lake and sea.

Later visit Raghurajpur Heritage Village (Art & Craft village, one of the seventh Heritage Village of India). At Raghurajpur village witness the Gotipua dance performance - traditional dance form and is precursor of Odissi classical dance.

Evening explore the local market on a cycle rickshaw.

Day 05: Puri – Bhubaneswar

Morning transferred to airport for flight to Delhi.
